EXIT!
I realize sometimes that I was a member of a particular group on Facebook but cannot remember how and when I found myself there. All I noticed was that I get updates and posts from that group almost on a regular basis. I do not seem to be convenient reading many of those posts, but I decided to remain there just to watch and make some personal observations. The group has to do with dating and love. One will wonder seeing those posts and comments that reveal the corrupt and immoral state of the undegenerated mind.
Shocking enough, I posted one of the copies of The Shepherd to that group and it was immediately disapproved by the Admin to that group. They rejected such stuff because it would challenge their carnal mind and bring them under conviction. I decided to exit the group finally. My friend, do you belong to such groups on Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram or any other social media platforms? You need to exit them if ever you want to please God.
The Bible is clear on what it takes to live a life that pleases God “Abstain from all appearance of evil.” I Thessalonians 5:22. You can’t feed you mind with pornography on social media and claim to be a Christian. Those romantic messages you read from those groups or pages all in the name of being social media compliant will only leave you polluted and weak, exit them now! It may be those videos and pictures on your device or some websites that you visit, and each time you visit such sites or open those videos or pictures you know you are sinking deeper into sin.
Nothing is hidden before God “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil” Ecclesiastes 12:14. This is a reality that people seems to shut their mind against – judgment! God will bring every action of man into judgment on a particular day He has appointed (Acts 17:31). Before that day comes, repent and exit every groups and pages that pollutes.
